Hi!

This is my new home that we're building, and I need help determining stains.

Our chevron entry door is white oak with a Sikkens Natural stain. The sidelights and transom are painted white. Our walls are white. The floors and stair system are currently an unfinished walnut, I plan to use Bona Naturale clear (waterborne finish) on the floors and stairs/knoll posts/etc., it'll create a flat, bare-wood look, so they'll look very close to how they currently appear in the attached image, maybe, a pinch darker, but without any red or purple that walnut tends toward. Now, we've added these sliding poplar doors on a barn door track system, cordoning off the living room. I first thought I'd paint them white to go with the white sidelights flanking the entry door (and still might), but looking at them unfinished, I like how they look and am now considering a stain, but not sure which type/color.

As for the entry door...it turned out a lot tawnier than I had hoped. I was hoping for a faded, less amber look. On the exterior side it's fine as I have many exteriors beams and brackets in the same finish, and it works. Anyway, the door could be sanded and re-finished on the interior.
