We have a smallish bedroom (12.0 x 14.8) & my husband is 6'3" so we enjoy a hollywood king. Also have 2 nightstands, chest of drawers, dresser, door to the hall, door to the bath, & sliding closet doors. I like our furniture - very dark stain - & our pale blue walls & light bedding, but the room looks crowded. What about painting the furniture & walls different tints of the same lighter color, such as the gray or white range? The bed is dark brown leather & will not change. The floor is stained concrete which ranges from cola to black. The two windows have off white honeycomb blinds. A mix of Asian & contemporary. Suggestions would be welcome.
