My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hi there - the island countertop and the backsplash are both Carrera marble in a honed finish and the perimeter countertop is Corian - Glacier White.

    Thank you for answering all the questions. The marble looks beautiful on the island. I was always told not to put marble in kitchen given the risk of staining/etching but I love the look. What is your experience with marble as a kitchen work surface. Is the honed finish making any difference ? are the modern sealant more effective ? Thank you
