I like the charcoal gray windows, but don’t add shutters. They won’t fit properly for the double windows, and would silly on the small ones.

So, for a roof…lighter, brighter gray. GAF has a new line that looks like slate.

Lighten the black trim to the window color and do the garage door darker gray.

Don't spend money on shutters that would be a mistake. The wall color you posted would look nice and I would do the roof in a similar shade. Check out GAF Timberline HD line. They have a nice selection of colors. Pick the paint colors you want first, then the roof to go with it. I think white around your windows and on your soffit and fascia, gutters and trim would brighten things up substantially. Two white wood patio chairs on the porch with some nice greenery and improved landscape would transform your home. Also, make sure to paint the garage door the dark color you posted above. Not white. White stands out and garage doors don't need to stand out.

One more thing...add an additional post beside each post at the porch entry point. It will look more substantial and give more presence to the front door.

I like very dark roofs on brick houses. Is black an option?

Darker color with your brick for your roofing would be best bet.
