I'm planning on building a sideboard for our dining room to go right in front of an odd wood half wall. I figure painting it will make the area pop a bit more. my question is should I paint it the wall color? the trim color? a darker/lighter shade of one of them? something completely different? the table and other wood accents will be dark, but painting/staining/removing this wall is out of our scope right now.
