I'd agree with burweed, Soliva sessilis. This is a winter annual and as noted, will die out on its own as soon as temperatures start climbing. It is hard to approach with herbicides at this point in time but you might want to consider using a pre-emergent at the appropriate time in late winter. Refer to this fact sheet for control methods.

Creeping Charlie, Glechoma hederacea, is in the mint family, has roundish leaves and is both perennial and evergreen and creeps along the ground with long, extended tendrils. Nothing about the photo is reminiscent of creeping Charlie (aka ground ivy).
