We have a traditional 3/2 home. My husband and I are remodeling the hall/guest bath and have a difference of opinion.

1. I would like to replace the existing tub/shower combo with a walk-in shower.
2. He feels this would hurt the resale value because families with small children still want/need a tub.
3. I think a built in shower bench would work for bathing children... he thinks a bench will make the walk-in shower small.

FYI - we have a soaking tub in the master.

Please tell me - what do you think
