Ants all over hoya pachyclada blooms and nectar!

I still have a lot of plants inside. I went to water some of the hoyas and there were ants all over the pachyclada! When i inspected closer they were congregated around the sweet nectar of the blooms. I took the plant to the shower and washed the ants off. Does this ever happen to any of you?

Yes. And I leave the ants alone. They have facilitated pollination for me, before, so I let them drink their fill, and then they go back to their mound/nest.

They don't always guarantee pollination but certainly help. I leave them be, they're outside anyway. Some on one of my H. rupicola.

Do you think that i will get a seed pod? I dont know if a hoya can pollinate itself or not....lol

I believe they can self-pollinate. In addition to ants, I also see moths on Hoya flowers. But I see fewer seed pods than I do prospective pollinators. Probably some Hoyas are more difficult to pollinate than others.
