I think someone is soon to tell you to pull the area rug out from under the bed. Let it define the space between the tv wall and the foot of the bed. I know you are asking about chairs etc, but thats the first thing I saw. By the way, the floors are beautiful!

You have many good elements in this space for starters, just some fine tweaking will complete the look you are trying to achieve. The rug could be angled or turned. Try this and take photo. How about the artwork over your bed. Are you opposed to moving it? Fun poufs at the end of your bed could add color, texture and function. Dimensions are 20x20x14. Is your bed a queen? Possibly a mirror over your bed the one in photo is 3D for dimension. One with a different shape to break up the squares in this space.

Your sconces and draperies look nice. The chair in the far right corner on the TV wall I would put somewhere else in the home. This is a start to get a feel of your likes or dislikes and your preferences. What is the material and finish of chandelier?

What are the wall measurements on left and right of draperies. Three small decorative mirror would elongate and balance your wall. In one photo which was lighter the grays and golds appeared to match. Photos can sometimes distort the actual color but giving you ideas to play with.

My first inclination is to place the orange chairs in front of the gorgeous window with a table between them....and maybe a small ottoman for feet up. Using the orange as an accent color in the room such as lamp shades and a throw would be pretty. A bench at the foot of the bed would add seating for putting on shoes.

Where the white chair is, I'd add a corner built-in bookcase.

Loving the shiplap, floors, and windows!

I love your ship-lap walls! One small detail would be to scoot the rug closer to the headboard. For seating, at the end of the bed, a standard end of the bed bench would look best. Also, I'd suggest adding some height to the corner that currently has your white chair. you could do that with some open shelving. If you still wanted a reading chair your space could accommodate a slimmer accent chair and very small end table. Good luck on your project!

Let's see....bed is a king and is really heavy so hard to try out rug angles. I like the pouf idea. Chandelier is distressed off-white color, metal. Wall measurements to left of drapes: 88" and to right 44". Wall space by the smaller window (between bedside table and wall) is 66". I agree there are so many right angles in the room right now, needs breaking up.

I would get rid of all the chairs, they look so small in scale compared to the rest of the furniture. Putting a bench at the foot of the bed that maybe has storage space would be nice and I would put a big comfy chaise in the corner where the white chair is. A console in front of the larger windows would be a great place to put some potted smaller plants and a tall fuller plant could go in the other corner. I agree the room needs color. Place your favorite bolder color in blue, green, or even a soft shade of pink all around the room by adding small accessories such as pillows, throws, and statuary pieces. I really love the floors and ship lap wall.

Thank you for update. I would use texture in pillows and keep the chair in corner with floor lamp behind in corner. Pull chair out to make a reading seating area. Large Convex mirror above. Move nightstands to center with window and center lamps with window. Larger artwork over bed not necessary this just showing you ideas.

Chair to the right of window to go in another space as mentioned before. Would like to see other two walls if possible.

I know that massage chair has to go - ugly! ;) My shelves to the left of the bed are special to me, so I want to keep those and I love the big mirror. It used to be gold and I painted it a silver/black distressed finish. Fake white flowers could go, just like the height they bring. Thank you!

Maybe do a bench or a storage bench in front of the bed!

You could try doing a great sitting area in front of the windows with an ottoman and table like you will see in our design below.

Do you spend much time sitting in your bedroom? Or do the chairs become a place to drop stuff? Everyone uses their rooms in different ways, so I wouldn't want to assume. I do really like all the suggestions to add a bench where the leather chairs are.

I think you should bring in a small neat bench at the foot of your bed in a color from your area rug or painting.

Then if possible place a love seat or sofa against the window with full sized end tables and make sure your sconces are at 64 inches on center and a narrow cocktail table, maybe in iron and glass?

Add pillows on sofa/love seat in colors from painting too. I thing part of your problem is room is 50/50 full and empty......you need to have it more empty or more full, but half way either way is disconcerting to the brain. I do not know the reasoning behind this but it is what I thought of when I looked at your room.

I also think the shelves should be white, not dark. Can you try a white shelf on wall and see what you think? Again just suggestions.

Love the bookshelf idea too, but make it solid and a color from your painting?

I love your mirror it is modern and elegant. Could it possibly fit horizontal above your bed?

I think all you need to do is get an upholstered bench for the end of the bed, both for function and to soften the room. Then place a small love seat or two chairs under the window, rather than having chairs alone in the corners. I would use blues or greens in the upholstery, to bring out the color in the art above your bed.
