Iighten up the cabinets. What is on the floor? What color are the walls? Do you have a back splash that needs to be considered?

Definitely agree with Certified Interiors a light colour will really freshen and revitalise your room. Are they the tiles on the floor I can see?? I would go several shades paler than them.

I'm not changing the cabinets or counters, just the paint on walls. Here are a few more pics. I have decided to change all the trims & doors to white & paint the walls gray. What do you think?!

Nice, love the colour it is. I thought you wanted to paint the cupboards - my mistake. Personally, I just don't like grey with brown, I know it is all the go now, but that is just me. So how much natural light does the room get? Does it need brightening, is it a hot room that needs a cooling colour or a cold one that needs some warmth? These are important factors in getting a colour right.

I think the gray will be nice, but I might go a shade lighter.

I'm having such a hard time finding the perfect gray. This is my 3rd sample. The other 2 were lighter, but looked more blue. Anyone have the perfect gray out there?
