Do granite samples have any use?

We have 5 different granite samples that we've got in the process of building our house. I'm talking about those 6x6 (or 8x8 I guess) square granite samples.

We're ready to throw them out but kinda wondering if they can be used for something else. Seriously can't think of any possible use of them :/

Trivets, coaster, put under a plant to not ruin tabletop, use it to raise a display item...

Yup - all you need to do is add either silicon bumpers (like they have at HD for cabinet doors) or little felt feet (so they don't scratch anything), and voila - trivets! If you don't want them, put them on Kijiji for free - I guarantee SOMEONE will pick 'em up and put them to good use. ;)
