Is that Viioletta granite?

Is your granite black, red and rose?

Can we see a closeup of the back splash, or please tell us the color of it?

Thanks for the questions/advice. After looking up images of viioletta granite it appears to be the granite I have. I don't have on file the name of it. The colors in the granite are black, grey, maroon, light beige (maybe rose). The backsplash is the same color as my floor tile.

Walls or cabinets?

If it is violetta, I have the same in my laundry room and kitchen. I painted my kitchen BM Smoky Mountain (AC18) and laundry room in BM Smoky Mountain with just a touch of white added to lighten it. , a blue gray. It grounds the violetta and the cabinets.

I am painting the walls. My first choice was something in the grey family.

Maybe a color in the light gray family? Does your kitchen have many windows? I have cherry cabinets in a bergandy tone, and two different granites. On my island I have black granite and on the counter along the wall the colors are a combo of black, beige, cream and burgandy. Now this may sound crazy but the walls in my kitchen/dining room are a light periwinkle by Baer called Lively Tune above the chairrail. White below the chair rail. We are so thrilled with the way the rooms look, we sit and stare!

What ever you do dont leave those 2 doors white they need to be lost. Paint them whatever color your wlls are!
