Please read some reviews of that pump before purchase. Frankly I have not heard of a solar powered pump that is able to lift water high enough to run a waterfall.I haven't researched them for a couple of years though.

How big is the area that you want to place the pond in? Are you planning on adding plants or fish or will this be strictly a water feature? You'll need room around the outside to kneel for maintenance. With a 412 gph pump, I'd go no larger than 400 gallons but that is my preference, I like a lot of water movement.

strictly water feature for now. I have started to research solar pumps and that is the claim 10ft. It would be alot of work to get electric in that area.

Ponds are a lot of work and you'll need areas around the pond to access it for cleaning, unplugging the filters and so on.

A lot more of a pain than mowing on the hill will be be trying to find your 'perch' to service and maintain the pond.
