I think this is pretty natural coloration for this undulata. One of the leaves in the last picture (at eight o'clock) is a little worrying. But this year in my garden everyone gets the benefit of the doubt because of the late freeze.

I don't see anything that would concern me.

I don't see a problem and removing nearby hosta would provide an opportunity for HVX (if present) to spread unless the hostas were completely isolated as in no opportunity for roots to be intermingled.

Thanks all! I'll keep an eye on them but it's a huge relief. After the heavy late frosts this year, my wife and I were just nervous about anything more.
