Keeping rhododendron alive during construction

We purchased a residential lot in Vancouver, WA and have started construction of our home. The lot was landscaped 20 years ago with many evergreen trees, lawn and shrubs including some rhododendrons. Many of the threes had to be removed but still have quite a few. We still have several rhododendrons and wondering if they will survive the summer months during construction without regular irrigation? If no, what would be the minimum amount to keep them going? I can use a five gallon bucket drip if needed but hauling water to the site may be problematic. I'm hoping with the additional sunlight they are getting now and some proper care, I would be able to improve their appearance. Thoughts? TIA!
