In Palm Springs the sky is so blue and so often devoid of clouds we leave most of our windows crystal clear. The tint is an illusion in this photo. The exception to our clear window philosophy is a window directly into the shower. We sometimes have it frosted for obvious reasons ;)

Thanks so much for answering so promptly. Do you not worry about fade from that intense sun?

The house is now fitted with curtains/roller shades to protect from the sun in the hottest parts of the day. Luckily this house as North/South facing windows so the sun doesn't come in directly very often. The view directly out the windows is North. :)
