Do these rugs look the same to you?

I ordered the Pottery Barn Kellen rug. The first photo is what I ordered, the second is what I received. The colors look completely off to me. What do you think?

Looks like the one you ordered has brown accents and the one you got has gray. That's unfortunate.

I like what you received…warmer and more versatile…but, did you ask for a swatch?

Wow...definitely brown vs. gray. I also prefer the one you received.

Thanks everyone! I didn't order a swatch, this was actually ordered from eBay. In the one I received, the colors are kind of muddy, and the pink and green are more noticeable and pastel. Everything I have is cream/brown/warm, so I really would have preferred the first version. Guess I got scammed...shame on me. ;)

Pottery Barn rug would show up on ebay, but the seller would not be Pottery Barn. Go back to the seller and demand proof that you were sold a Pottery Barn rug.

This is the same one at Pottery Barn. It appears there is only one color wave, and the pic is the same as eBay pic.
https://www.potterybarn.com/products/kellen-rug-neutral-multi/ It's very unfortunate the PB photo was off color, and the eBay seller used the same one.

Do you have lights on in your picture? What kind of bulbs do you use?

It is not just the colour that is off, the pattern is different. Look closely at the number of "leaves." I have a feeling whomever sold you this, sold you a ripped off product. Sorry this happened!

So true Niagara! I didn't look that closely before. Does it have a PB label on it?? Contact the seller, if they won't accept a return, file a case with eBay.

Sometimes the pattern on the rug can vary with size, but that's usually with small rugs and runners. What size is yours?

Thanks everyone! So, I ordered a "PB" rug from an eBay seller who seemed to sell a lot of rugs and have a lot of positive feedback. When I received it, I could tell immediately that the color (at least) was off, and later noticed the pattern (although that bothers me less).

It has a "PB" label, which I compared to several others in my house that are real, and it appears to be a good copy, but yep...I was duped! I gave the seller negative feedback, but eBay removed it. I requested a return, but the seller said that I would have to pay to have a 5x8 rug shipped overseas. No thanks. ;) Lesson learned.

Same thing happened to me with a rug from Wayfair- pattern was the same but the colors not so much. I do like the one you received, hope it works out

Shame on E-bay. Now somebody else can get duped. I'm sorry it wasn't handled more ethically.

Sounds like they drop ship from out of the country.... we've all learned a lesson here. Sorry, hope you can make it work.

I tried to file a claim with eBay, but they considered the seller's offer to accept a return (if I pay to ship it back to India) as acceptable. :(

Does the sellers profile say they are based in and ship from India? If they are USA based, it doesn't seem right that you would have to do that...where it originally came from should not be your problem.

They are not the same but photos or online colors often do not reflect how they are in person

northpoint, I do see the differences in the patterns as well, but I still like the one you received as it appears on my screen. Think you can make it work?

If they are selling a PB fake (especially copying their label) I would report the seller to PB and at least try to get this shop shut down. eBay shouldn't just stand by and remove your negative feedback. No wonder you read only positive reviews! So sorry that happened!
