Fireclay glass tile no more

So, after smm5525 posted her absolutely beautiful reveal, I contacted Tiffannie at Fireclay tile to see if she could send out 5 hydrangea tiles (Yes, I still haven't chosen a backsplash).in the hopes that I'd see all the variations in color that this much loved tile has. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but as per Tiffanie, my tile designer expert, " over the weekend our glass kiln was having serious mechanical issues, so we decided to discontinue our glass lines. ". I thought maybe I'd misunderstood, but no, upon checking the site, the glass tile heading is gone. So moral of the story, dithering gets you no where. Had I pulled the trigger, I'd have my backsplash done. Back to the drawing board...

I feel your pain. I had my hydrangea samples but dithered on ordering. I tried to place my order on Tuesday only to learn that I would need to make another choice.

So so sad to hear this news this week. I have about two boxes (we over-ordered) and was hoping to get some more to use somewhere else, maybe in the master bath.

Hehe SMM. My idiot GC ordered so much extra (on my dime) that my sister has a matching bathroom. And I still have spares!

(If you got spearmint in matte, maybe we can make a 3rd bathroom!)

Well my GC had incorrect dimensions too! So I measured myself, had Fireclay measure and the tile guy. It was about 25 sq ft less than the GC estimated but we still have extra! Ours is Hydrangea

That may become very valuable tile! Someone needing just a few replacement tiles or just enough to finish and none to be found. I hate to hear that because hydrangea was one of my favorite tiles. Wish I could have used it but it was not possible.
