Not sure what kind of help you are wanting but what comes to my mind is this.Your windows could use a fabric for softness, texture and more height to balance to high TV I would put a rod just below the adjacent room ceiling height and put a panel on each window with a tie back on opposite sides. Remove the plant vines off the mantel, replace FP screen with something not brass. You area rug is much too small. Select one that can fit under the front legs of each furniture piece on each side. Accent with pillows in a shade you like. Room appears too bland as well and needs color.Declutter a bit. Best of luck!

Need more pic. But rearrange furn would help. Turn sofa to face TV to start.

Remove things from fireplace. And what is in corner to left? Do you need it?

Start with a larger area rug. I think something with a blue would be really nice. I think the coffee table may be too large for the space- but it is hard to tell. Is the room narrow? If so the have the love seat face the FP. Some tables with lamps to soften the lighting.

Thanks for all of your help. The room is long, narrow and dark. I think I'll do the drapes and get a bigger rug. :-)
