Was any herbicide applied nearby on turf?

I sprayed lawn weed killer close ish by few weeks ago ?

I was asking as my orchard is at my brother in law's pig farm due to lack of space in my yard. He hired someone to spray the giant farm yard with 2-4-D for dandelion control and my fruit trees burned on the foliage. Very similar to what your leaves look like. I my case it was applied with a small tractor and boom sprayer. It has been almost constantly windy here so I believe that is the cause of foliar damage on my trees.

I think it appears to be the cause of yours as well. Not saying one cannot spray the lawn for weeds near fruit trees, but I would be very careful not to spray when windy. With the few fruit trees I did grow in my tiny yard, I always sprayed each spring and fall with Ortho weed B gone and never had an issue.

Yet at my 22 tree orchard at my brother in law's farm it seems to be an issue almost every year. I suppose professional lawn care workers are not as concerned about wind as they have so many jobs to get done. When I spray for weeds, I want it dead calm to spray and I prefer to spray at sunrise as usually that is the calmest part of the day.

I think your trees will be fine and outgrow the damage. The leaves that are damaged will stay so for the rest of the season.
