Could you post pics of the rest of the room? Is this the best placement for the sofa? I do not see any tables/lamps. I think that wall art would be better decided upon once other elements are in place. The room is currently very gray so I would want to change that by adding warmth and color.

I suggest you get rid of that sectional (or at least half of it) and focus on creating a better seating area, with end tables, lamps, chairs, etc., before worrying about the walls.

Wow, these comments. I thought you were asking about ideas for the walls and not ideas for your seating arrangement.

If the floors are espresso, what color is the sectional? any green/olive to it?

I have not yet added a second color to compliment the turquoise/aqua, I am definitely open to the idea!

The sectional is a deep gray - almost charcoal. Has been mistaken for green, so I'm assuming there must be some green undertones to it.

Additional info: The room itself is huge... 21' x 24' and the ceiling slopes from 12' to 18'

The angled corner of your sectional is the perfect place for a floor lamp.

I agree with adding a large art piece behind the sectional or a 3 piece triptych to save money. Not sure what your preference is for art. A couple of Ikat pillows with solid accent pillows behind them would brighten up your sofa and help pull in the color of your rug. I would also consider adding roman shades in white with a charcoal trim to soften the windows. There are tutorials on YouTube for making them very inexpensively with mini blinds. But you could probably find something very reasonable on Overstock. You could add a pretty C table to the chaise end of your sofa so you can sit and relax with a cup of tea or coffee while sitting on the chaise. This round one is a nice change from the usual rectangle. You want it tall enough to slide over the arm of the sofa. You've done a great job with the room so far and it only needs a few things to make it perfect. Hope this helps!

The rust part is cool - more than 1 across the wall? sells in gold too. Mix and match of some things you like... 31.75" Diameter for $118.

What if you considered covering a portion of the wall in our Madeira 3D-wallboard in a stagger pattern portrusion? The colors in the Madeira would really stand out on your gray wall! and since the space is so large, the wall could serve as a pleasant focal point, not to mention TEXTURE!!

I would consider a more sculptural piece for your large wall. Here is one I think might work well.

The dining room rug is way too small and don’t suggest round..

Would the living room rug work there?

No rug in the living room…at least for now and ottoman and what ever is on it…gone.

Love the sectional…huge. In your photo, the sectional does not look aligned at the wedge. Would you take another photo?

You should invest in a huge coffee table…maybe a vintage dining table with the legs cut down to size.

Some height via floor lamps on each side would help reduce the massive size of the wall. Z Gallerie and Pottery Barn both have curated collections in both color and style. I like a mixture of mediums, styles etc but on a wall that size, I would have several pieces. You can pick a few and ask Poonam (artist from above) to suggest a piece or two that would compliment the grouping. Live everdebz map but want more. The mirror from above is fun but I would want 5 with other types of big ceramic flowers (Aurhaus) to build the wall-that said, my husband would exercise his NO vote on this. Window treatments with complimentary pillows will also help bring down the height/warm up the room. Keep us posted or share your art interests!

If mine, though this isn't exhaustive: I'd try World in Blue and 2 black flower pieces, the latter repeating rug shape a bit, and black of upper railing...

The room needs some visual motion so I have added a canvas with more interest, a floor lamp with some sculptural design & an accent table for putting down a drink.
