Railings

I really like the railings. Were they fabricated from stock lumber? If so what size and type stock did you use? And how were they tied into the columns?Thanks. Steve

Steve, thanks for the inquiry. Yes, the rails are made from pressure-treated 2x4 pine with the "X' ripped down to 1.5"x3" to make a slight reveal to create a better caulk joint. Diagonals are full length from the top center to create a truss.
