I wouldn't recommend wallpaper on a textured ceiling. It's meant to adhere to smooth surfaces and I think it would eventually bubble in spaces - plus I think it would just look terrible with all the bumps in it. Your best option is to hire a very good painter/ceiling person who could repair and blend in the texture. Unfortunately, this would usually entail repainting the kitchen and hallway ceilings since matching your current color may be difficult if it's been there a while.
