Check out Blue Shadows at Land Of Giants. I've also seen pictures of June look like that when it is in a more shaded area.

i hope you know.. you have one of the premier hosta gardens or 3.. in indy .. and of course im blanking on the name.. so i figure if i just keep typeing.. it will come to me.. lol.. soules gardens ... i win... lol...

i highly recommend a visit ... and if you go.. take only the cash you are willing to spend.. leave credit and checkbook at home.. lol .. i cant believe you would need to mail order anything in indy ....

and that is why they have the hosta society convention there.. every ten years ...

Yes, Tokudama Aureonebulosa looks right. What a beautiful plant - I'll need to find one. Adrian, I will have to look into Soules Gardens next time I'm in Indy. I'm about 3 hours drive north, but I have family in Indy so I visit frequently.

We we moved here from the Houston area less than a year ago, so I'm new to both hostas and Indiana. :). We moved into a house planted with a million hostas but all the same basic silver edge variety. I've been adding in a lot of different sizes colors and textures, but the old ones that were already here are a great structural backbone...

BTW .. one of the slowest growers of all hosta.. expect 10 to 15 years.. for a clump that size ...
