Milorganite?

Anyone use Milorganite in conjunction with alfalfa or soybean meals?

My bluegrass that receives full sun is looking dried out. I thought the soybean meal application on 5-8 (14lbs/1k) would have helped out by now but it appears I only got a short growth spurt out of that and was looking into a application of Milorganite.

Come to think of it, looking at the photo of my yard, it is only the center that is brown, the edges are nice and green. Perhaps it is due to the .75" of rain in 2 weeks.

Regardless, looking to see if Milorganite may be a good supplement.

I have used the equivalent of Milorganite - a product called OceanGro along with Alfalfa pellets. Due to excellent rainfall this spring, my grass is looking good. OceanGro is cheaper than Milo. A 50 pound bag cost only $6.99. It is on on sale in April every year. The regular price is $8.99. I buy 20 bags and apply it twice on my one acre KBG along with alfalfa pellets.

dchall, i'm still in Toledo, OH area ;)

Have not begun watering schedule yet since we've had decent rain. But after reviewing the rainfall totals and seeing they are lower than I thought, i'll begin watering program this week. The good ole 1" per week depending on temps.
