Leaves turning yellow

Hello I love just south of Boston and I planted some pole beans. When I first transplanted the beans to a 5 gallon bucket they were fine. Also when I transplanted I used the recommended amount of Gardentone fertilizer. We recently had a bunch of rainy cool days and now summer is here in full force. We have had 2 hot days in the 80's and now my leaves are turning yellow. I checked for bugs and found nothing. The potting mix has mulch over it to keep in moisture. I don't know what to do because I have read that over or under watering can do this. So I don't know if this is from the week of rainy days or if I should water because we have had 2 hot days. Not all the leaves are yellow only the big ones near the base.
