Light kitty litter?

Has anyone any experience with the new "light" formulations of kitty litter? I've tried it and I'd swear that it tracks worse than regular litter. I'm wondering if it does this because it's so light it doesn't pack down, sticks to my kitty's fur and then gets spread around the house. I don't remember having such a bad problem before this stuff.

I have tried the Arm and Hammer lightweight one and I am not a fan either. My litter box is hidden under a bench in my family room now that my kitty won't use her cat door to the garage and the litter smells bad much quicker than the heavier clay litters. I vacuum every day so I don't notice if it travels but that makes sense.

My kitty has feline asthma so I really have only a choice of the black Arm and Hammer litters or Respiratory Relief-all other clumping litters make her wheeze. So I went back to the heavy ones.
