it should work. check out the Elkay sinkmate kit that uses magnets. http://www.elkay.com/sinkmate . instead of using the peel and stick metal strip in the kit, you can get some magnets to tape to the othe side of the sink for even stronger hold. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06WGMRDHS

We haven't glued the magnets to the outside of the sink yet, but that's the plan. Right now their attraction is all that holds things in place. It works so well that I forget to get them glued in place.

The caddy itself is really nice. I like that I have one of those soap-handled sponges and a vegetable brush with a long handle standing up in it and they're still below the top edge of the sink.

Becca, it's working very well. We still haven't glued the magnet in place on the outside of the sink. The magnet in the holder has corroded, because the finish was scratched. I am going to coat another magnet in "something" (acrylic?) so that doesn't happen again.

Get the suction cups holders.

Suction cups do not work on e-granite from what I've read.

I come across Amazon has a epoxy coated magnet. Not sure I would get that or the Elkay sinkmate kite.

I'm using the Elkay holder on my Blanco sink. I had some hobby lobby magnets left over from a craft project (why they're spray painted yellow). A stack of 4 quarter-sized magnets are doing the job. Here are pics of the holder as well as a shot from my under-sink cabinet.
