Great job with the coffee table staging! Is there any art in the room? I would like to see colors drawn from your wall art into the seating, drapes, and rug to pull colors across the room therby enlarging the focus and enlarging the room.

An area rug would be nice to anchor the conversation grouping of couch, chair and table.

Design. Dilemma.

I would use both, and then I would use colors that are in your artwork to pull the room together. Using a rug will define the conversation area. Don't forget to mix patterns so everything doesn't match. You did a great job with the table.

Both colors work beautifully; I would pull colors from art work on the walls to tie in, etc.

I think powder blue looks best here. However, there's no reason you couldn't incorporate both! Especially since you have an all around neutral color scheme.

I like the blue because it gives the room a pop of color. Love the colors!

Keep them BOTH, that makes it look more interesting! Here are some tips that might come in handy one day. I've heard it said that something black should be included in every room, a vase, or a picture frame --something. Black grounds a room. Perhaps not 'too much' black though, it has the potential to make the room too dark & depressing looking. Also, it is good to pair groups of Knick-Knacks in groups of 3 or any odd number. Having things too 'matchy matchy' can look stiff & unnatural. Perhaps add a 3'rd pillow into the mix on your sofa, one that has a different pattern from the others and so there will be a odd number of pillows, they won't look like matched bookends. You did very well as a newbie!
