I had read that armrests on my sewing chair would interfere with getting close to the sewing table (way back)...so I have 3 rolling chairs for sewing and 1 for computer--all are armless!

My desk chairs are very old, too. I never want arms on a chair I'm using at a desk or table, but I'm short so that probably has a lot to do with it.

No arms for this quilter. I never had chairs with arms at the office either. I tried them once, in order to look more executive-like, but I could never get used to them. Once a secretary, always a secretary.

No arms on my chair. I have a Koala Sew Comfort that is very comfortable.

The only things I used the arms on chairs for was to steady myself and keep me from falling off. lol I'm a shorty, too.

Both DH & I have secretary chairs. He has added a pillow for softness. I like being able to adjust the height for different types of sewing.
