What is doing this to my tomatillo leaves?

We bought a house in October that has a nice size garden with raised beds. This is my first year planting it. I planted some tomatillos and his is happening the the leaves on one of my plants. It seems to be starting to spread to the second now (but not nearly as bad). The flesh part of the leaf drops out but the veining appears unharmed. Thoughts? Do I rip out the plants? Can I plant something else there or will it live in the soil? Should I move my eggplant that is in the same raised bed on the other end? It's gotten much worse on this plant - I just forgot to take an updated picture this morning. Thanks!
