Parsley and Cilantro Dying

I keep a parsley and cilantro plant in a container on my back deck and in a very short period of time the leaves turned white and have started to die. Can anyone identify what is wrong and possibly suggest any tips for prevention or recovery or should I scrap these and start some new plants. Pics attached. Thanks for any insights!!

I would definitely scrap the Cilantro. It is only a short lived annual at the best of times and needs sowing at intervals all season, even when it's healthy. There's no point trying to fix your plant,

The Parsley is a biennial but the plant is so small that I don't think that's really worth keeping either. You could cut it back but meanwhile I think it would be best to start both again from seed in fresh mix.

Looks like sunburn. Did you keep it indoors or in shade and then suddenly put it out in the blazing sun?
