My dog does fine with the oak floors... although I don't think we've had an issue with the peeing.

We recently put in engineered wood (maple). Our Golden Retriever and Doberman have effectively scratched several areas already. They play and run around. We now have a "dog-scraped" floor! :(

Forbo Industries makes linoleum in sheets. The colors and patterns are beautiful. We have it in every room of our house except the living/dining and one of the bathrooms. The color goes all the way through unlike vinyl. It's also naturally antimicrobial and antistatic and made with all natural materials.

Maybe concrete, linoleum or tile? I'm a huge wood floor fan, and our 90 year old white oak has survived many different families with dogs, but I suspect that too many "accidents" would be a problem for many flooring materials.
