In these days of sensitive electronics you want to keep them as cool as possible for their longest life. Running the fans is what preserves electronics. Some manufacturers turn their fans off too soon, in my opinion, and this cooks the electronics.

I get it.. just wondering if it is supposed to be as loud as it is,.. and often it sounds like something is slightly loose and a slight vibration.... just thought I would ask prior to have an $80.00 service call for them to tell me its normal...

If the oven is new your call will be covered under the 1st year warranty.

Regarding the noise level. You can hear the fans running on these ovens but mostly air noise.

If you hear vibration this may not be normal and most of the time can be adjusted to stop vibration noise.

FAN NOISE - I just installed (NOV 2019) a Thermador 48" dual fuel range and the oven fan noise is not just LOUD but there is a WHISTLE noise as well. My appliance tech called Thermador support and was told they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix - but they don't have a part number for it yet. Please - EVERYONE with this issue please call in to Thermador and insist they come up with this fix as soon as they can. They are aware there is an issue because of other customer complaints - we need to make sure they know how big of an issue it really is.
