How did you get the towel bar on the glass door

I have a stationary glass panel (3/8") on my shower and am in need of adding a bar to hang the bath mat when not in use

Do NOT attempt to retrofit a towelbar on your glass door! At least not if it is - as it should be - a tempered glass panel, as it would "explode". Those towelbars need to be specified and drilled for when ordering glass enclosure systems.

Sometimes you can order just a new door and towel bar if you have a large enclosure. This should save a bit of money although the labor will still cost you.

How high from floor should towel bar be?

Typically the towel bar is centered on the door, however on taller doors over 80 inches the towel bar can be set lower.
