I have never used silken pine in a dark room. However, I think it should work nicely for you. It is a soft light green with gray undertones. Silken pine is one of my favorites.

Bringing up an old thread....Did you use Silken Pine? I’m debating between that and Soft Fern. My room doesn’t get much light and I’d like to brighten it up. It’s currently Rosemary Sprig.

    Thanks!

I have silken pine in most of my downstairs rooms and also in my hallway upstairs. The upstairs hallway is very dark and while you can see a difference between the trim color (Simply White) and the wall, you can't really see that it's a greenish color. Whereas downstairs, where we have a lot of natural light, it looks like a very pale greenish-gray (lovely! I am planning on using it on more rooms when we add our addition!)

    Thanks! I’m still debating....
