How many single hanging pendants

How many single hanging pendant lights would be needed for an island that is 8ft with an attached table 4 ft long. Total 12 ft?

Hi Suzanne! Great question. Here are tips on pendants from our guide to the right size lighting:

Find the maximum width/diameter for pendants to go over your island by measuring the width of the island in inches and subtracting 12.

We recommend spacing pendants 2 feet apart over an island, so you could easily do something like 4 (or even 5!) smaller pendants or 3 larger pendants, one of which could be placed over the attached table.
