Hello,

We are building a two-story home, which faces northwest and a pond in the back. Therefore, we are looking for an open concept house with lots of windows. Although we like a more modern look we do not want something too modern since we live in small town in the Midwest. Would you please help me with the design of our kitchen? The dimensions are 15'-4''x 16'-5" and we have a four-season room next to the kitchen. I like white cabinets and a kitchen island (8'xin espresso or vice-versa (e.g. links bellow from Houzz). In addition, I included the last design of our kitchen and the main floor plan for a better idea (we did not integrate the last kitchen design in the floor plan yet). My husband and I love to cook and have friends over. We like breakfast bar island style to hide the mess when cooking and because of my tall husband who likes high stools. Finally, we are a big fan of a good size island to eat, work in our laptop and entertain. We have one daughter and she is 5! I appreciate all comments and suggestion! Thanks!!
