Which one was prolific? Someone was talking about Primo Red here recently, I believe. I don't think they liked the taste much, but they liked the production.

Of those, unfortunately, I've only grown Lemon Boy F1, which got very long vines, and acidic, perfectly yellow, as in not orange, fruit, maybe with green shoulders (as acidic as freshly ripe Early Girl F1, anyway, but larger fruit, longer to ripen, and not as many fruits, in my experience). It set fruit in the heat.

I had the most production from the Lemon Boy. I believe the others were determinate. None of them were outstanding for flavor compared to the the standard varieties I typically grow.

Brandywine, Cherokee purple, big boy, big beaf, celebrity, early girl are all pretty good in my garden. This past year the production from my brandywine and Cherokee purple plants was outstanding, which is great because they are my favorites.
