Welcome to the daylily discussion group. South Seas has such a vibrant color.

Thanks. The south seas does have a very eye catching coral like color. Hyperion opened today and I was amazed by how bright it is. It definitely stands out.

Such a clean garden! You are well on your way to good-sized clumps.

You have a very nice collection with good variety. El Desperado looks great! Welcome to the group!

Lori

These are really pretty and appear to have plenty of room to expand and grow!! And no grass to hinder them. Good job!!

Kate

I'm amazed at how fast these plants have taken off. I planted this entire bed in may last year. El Desperado is a really good looking plant. Love the color combination.

It's a good start! Hyperion and South Seas will really expand. Hyperion has the best scent of almost any daylily.

A nice start to your daylily garden! Your plants look great. There a lot of great on line sellers with very good prices. My favorite is Oak Hill daylilies in central Illinois. Check out the website some time. I've purchased from them at least six times over the past three years.

Sherry

I love your photos. You have a really good group of daylilies to start with. Of course, soon you will find yourself adding more and more and that means we will be able to enjoy more beautiful pictures. To echo Kay, welcome to the addition. Sherry is also right, Oak Hill Daylilies is a good place to buy daylilies.

Brad- Your right about Hyperion. It has a much stronger/pleasant scent than any of the other daylilies i have.

I noticed this evening golden prize has new scapes popping up !

Mauna Loa was one of our first daylilies. Even today, we can spot it across a garden because of its color. Welcome aboard.

Nancy

Welcome to the forum! Your collection is lovely. I especially like Christmas Ruby. what is the purple clump in the background of Christmas Ruby?

Debra

It's Barbary Corsair. It has been blooming like crazy since June 8th and still has lots of buds left. It was one of the first ones to open up for me.
