I don't know if this going to be of any help as my T.V. seed is a few years old but at least it gives you the shape of the seed.

Freshly shelled from dry pods the seed is a creamy white with a very faint dusting of a slightly darker color, hardly noticeable. Not the best pics hopefully they are of some help.

Here's a couple more-- first is newish seed in full sun, second is packet seed under fluorescent lights. Older seed turns very brown.

So they're brown! And different shades of brown! I was definitely misidentifying them.

I have empty seed packets, and the tags I used when I planted the different beans last year, but no note as to the color. Silly me just thought I'd remember (ha ha).

Don't really want to buy more seed packets just to see what color seed is inside, not when I have a plentiful collection of saved bean seeds.

When freshly shelled the seed is just off white, they darken as they age.

Not really brown, until they have aged. Sort of a light grayish/purple over white when freshly shelled.
