You can't afford to add lighting, but every color looks like mud because of the lack of lighting". And you want a magical color in the Taupe shade that won't do this?? Either change paints from taupe to white or add lighting. Or maybe prune the greenery on the outside?

I meant I can't add additional lighting - it really needs pot lights throughout - I have a central light and 2 other bedside table lights - yes I need magic - and I thought about trimming the shadows outside the window - but I do love the privacy it provides so I don't have to put window coverings up - I was thinking about going with BM Stone Hearth on 3 of the walls and one wall BM Smoky Taupe because that wall receives the least amount of light - I have ordered swatches in Accessible Beige and Tony Taupe from your above list - THANK YOU FOR REACHING OUT! I APPRECIATE IT!

hope those work. prune back a little bit. Also, keep everything else in the room white/cream. no dark, heavy furniture. look into a 'Clean Bohemian' type of decor, even tho they normally have white walls.

I have a parchment upholstered bed - mirrored side tables - ugly beige carpet (another option I can't afford to change right now)- light vintage armoire - some gold guilded framed art - white/taupe/little blush tones bedding - I'M TRYING - I'M TRYING....
