If only I lived in Texas, I would buy it from you. My mom absolutely loves Vietnamese white guava. Unfortunately I live in So Cal. The guavas and the tree itself looks strong, did you grow them from seed?

Yes, it's from seed which I had not anticipated will be fruiting in 2 1/2 years. This one in the pic and the other 6 is it's first year to put out fruit which took 3 years but the leader of the pack fruited last year.

how is the flavor on the white ? is it a large fruit ?

i had a guava named "Asian white" from Lowes. it was the best tasting guava ive ever had (out ot 5 trees). it was a large fruit, custardy sweet and smooth. it died in the frost in January.

This Vietnamese guava ( some call it Thai) is my favorite although I also like the pink or red guava. It tastes sweet but not very sweet which I love for I prefer my fruits not too sweet. It's crunchy with few seeds compared to other guava variety and doesn't get mushy so I usually cut them up in quarters and put them in a bag then eat them as healthy snacks as I go around town doing my errands.
