What is the diameter of the chandelier when the fan blades are retracted?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry! The diameter of the ceiling fan is W 42.5" / D 42.5" / H 17.4" when fan blades open. When the fan blades are retracted, the size is W 21.5" / D 21.5" / H 17.4" . Hope you can understand. If there is any other problem, please feel free to contact us.

how's the functioning of the fan?? is it as fast as normal ceiling fans?

I have the same question... how does it compare to a regular fan in regard to how much air gets circulated down???
