I am about to embark on my house construction. The size of the land/plot where I intend to erect the house is 163'-93" X 150'-82" (50M X 46M).

The house plans are out with 102' deep and 102'wide. including the 28'-8" attached 3 car garage.

I want to include the man cave, theatre and mini bowling. I am torn between excavating these additions in the basement or extending my house. Its one floor house and I want it one floor.

What should I be looking at in order to arrive at the best possible cost effective solution?
