I'm not a great photographer, but I thought you nice folks might appreciate these anyway. I posted a couple of weeks about my big summer project - edging between the lawn and garden, and eliminating the grass that was inadvertently planted in the garden area last year. Dear hubby got the edging done, and we're making progress with the grass - some I've dug out; we used a grass killer on the rest, and it's slowly doing its job.

One month ago:

Today - dead grass isn't the prettiest thing, but I prefer it to grass where it shouldn't be. I can't afford to buy mulch for the whole area (it's about 20' x 100'):
