I will never buy another Samsung appliance. My refrigerator has had one problem after another and the problems started shortly after I bought it four years ago. I also had problems with a Samsung washing machine. Fortunately I purchased extended warranties, and boy did I get my money's worth!

Penelope, you will find negative reviews for almost any brand out there. Trust me, just look online at LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, etc. My advice is to shop for features, appearance and price more than a specific brand. Also keep in mind the quality you get today is NOT what it once was. Purchase the extended warranty, then check with your credit card company. Several of them will extend the warranty for another 1-2 years at no charge. We bought the 5-year warranty for our new washer/dryer but got 7 years due to our credit card company's extension.

I agree with chloebud. You will find horrible and great reviews about everything. I could tell you horror stories about several of my kitchenaid appliances. I bought a samsung for my remodel, and I LOVE it. I went counter depth, and I got the model that has 4 doors instead of drawers. The forth door can operate as a fridge or freezer depending on your needs at the time. I have been using it for a couple of months and so far, so good! I have model RF22K9381SG/AA

I have 1 year old Samsung fridge and it is garbage. No matter what you do the freezer temps are all over the place. Sometimes ice cream is soft to at other times being like a rock. Their solution don't put as much in freezer which eliminates one whole side of tray.

Ice maker makes ice when it wants to which is usually never. Do a Google search there are tons of ice maker issues.

I would never buy one again.
