have you tried adjusting the feet? can you remove the flooring underneath w/o it being noticeable? Do you really need the cab over the fridge? you can't usually get to them anyway. remove it if not.

or yes, return it the fridge for another model.

Take the doors off, cut the cabinet, lose the storage, and have a decorative , trimmed , fixed panel made /painted/stained to match /coordinate with door style. Keep the fridge, get the buzz saw.

Picture would help. We removed trim, took down cabinet and cut 1" off of the top and then reinstalled but we had room to do so.
