I was going to get one night stand but what I thought was a nightstand was actually a dresser so I did not get to order a night stand. so plan is now to try to paint the two that are there.

OK.... what am I doing wrong?

EZ - I love that blanket flower. I've had that plant before but it didn't come back last spring so it's on my list to buy for this year. Also going to get some scabiosa (pincushion flower) since it seems to have died off also. I think my favorite plant combination was when I had some silver mound artemesia mixed with pincushion flower.

The dresser in second pic is laminate.

Unfortunately for me, my daughter is too much like I was when I was attending university. I was more interested in my part time job and my social life than in really understanding the subject matter. I did get decent grades in most classes and didn't actually flunk any of them, but I can't say that I really learned the material although I was quite good at cramming and test taking. My son has started to take after his father and show some intellectual curiousity, but my daughter is just academically lazy...many things come easy to her and she doesn't want to work at the others. I understand her lack of motivation, but the essential difference was MY parents weren't paying for my college education...that was all scholarship money and a part time job. I would be a lot better student now in some ways, but I would also expect more of the teachers than I did when I was younger...if I am paying to learn something, give me my money's worth! And, that includes a seat where I can see and hear the lecture being given and a person who speaks good enough English that I can understand the speaker's words

I have one daughter and I am trying to get her out of the house, she has never like school but thank God she was not stupid. I am trying to get her to go in the Army.

Back from golf -- it was a good day. My score was horrible but I'm hitting the ball really well so things will improve. It was good to see all my friends again too. I came home and all my sprinklers are now operational -- no more dragging the hose around!

Good heavens, I lose a lot of hair! I was just in my master bath and had to go drag out the vacuum. I could make a new human with all that I sucked up off the floor. Dark tile in the bathroom -- bad idea.

I am absolutely fascinated by the sprinkler system. I've never had one before and I've been playing with it since I got home. I'm such a nerd!

just got home from the party..one poor unfortunate young fellow at the shindig...happened to be a car salesman...Well, I cornered the poor chap to pick his brain on any deals.....Evidently..it caused somewhat of a stir..as someone at the party made a comment that this young fellow apparently likes "older women"...
Long story short...by the time i got done picking his brain for deals.(of which none were available), ..he promptly departed!! End of story...I was fairly amused that anyone would think such a thing!!

That's awesome!!! Poor guy.

Jayme/Kimdee – I think that other show is “Kitchen Nightmares”; I watch it too periodically. I also watched a couple episodes of a “kitchen undercover” type show on Food Network; where they install cameras & the expert sits with the owner watching how the staff behave. Unfortunately, some people start businesses because they think it’s easy or that type of business has a high profit margin .. but they really have no clue at all.

MP – Enjoyed the lunch group yesterday, and was lucky enough to be in my car, when the deluge hit (again). Could barely see to drive home; I hate that when you’re on the highway. Some of those infinity pools scare me a little, especially when they seem to be at the edge of the property overlooking a cliff .. I think I’d worry about being washed over the edge & down the hill! (LOL) They don’t call those “million $ views” for nothing!!

I’m good at math .. and now I’ll keep my mouth shut on that topic!.
