Kitchen cabinets with different depth

Hello. I'm trying to design additional cabinets on a wall that is 10 1/2 ' wide. The challenge is that on the left side of this wall is an adjoining wall/sliding glass door that only leaves 18" in depth for the base cabinet. On the opposite end is the backside of a hall closet with 42" in depth. The 18" deep wall means I can't have 24" deep cabinets all the way across the 10 1/2' wall. Would it look best to have 18" deep base cabinets all the way across the 10 1/2 ' or should I do an 18" deep pantry cabinet on that side and 24" deep the rest of the way across? Or two 18" deep cabinets on both ends with 24" deep in the middle to give it a more balanced look? Ultimately looking for more counterspace and storage. Thank you!
